Togepi Crew from Bitola Wins First Place at Codefest 2015

codefest-boysYoung programmers from the team Togepi Crew from Bitola are the winners of the programmers marathon Codefest 2015 held last weekend at the University St. Paul the Apostle in Ohrid.

They won the first prize for their educational application “augmented reality” that converts the photographs from the school books in 3D models which makes the educational process much easier.

Second place won the team “Coding mates” whose members were working on web-software that enables the communication between patients and doctors where the patients can personally make the appointments.

The team “Developer’s Case” that was working on an inventive solution, combination of hardware and software i.e. an application that could decrease the number of traffic accidents through embedded sensors in the vehicles and the signalization, won the third place.

Awards for innovator, best business application, ninja talent, best web-resolution, best mobile application, best design were presented as well. “Betty” was an interesting app, which is a system of recommendations for smart betting.

Organizers of the marathon stressed that during this edition of “Codefest” different ideas that could be implemented in the everyday life were presented.

The winners of the marathon instead of getting material awards, will have the opportunity to participate in other world-famous competitions, two competitions in the country and during the international competitions held in Montenegro and Turkey which will give chance to the young programmers from Bitola to promote their ideas at bigger promotion market.
